Analytical Hotel Delft
Up-to-date peptidomics in all aspects. Both qualitative and quantitative
analysis of the proteome subset. This is designated as the peptidome: the array
of (native, endogenous) peptides that occur naturally. They have important
biological functions, including regulatory, signal, (neuro)hormonal
functions.
The Research Hotel focuses on various peptide chemical
identification strategies, including:
- de novo sequencing
- peptide bioinformatics
- study of bioactive peptide location and their (physiological/pharmacological) activities
