Two valorisation vouchers awarded

April, 2011

Floris van Delft (Radboud University Nijmegen) has been awarded a Valorisation Voucher for his proposal “Clickable microarrays to profile peptide-protein and protein-protein interactions”. The aim of this project is to develop and use technology to array peptides and proteins on glass plates.

NPC project leader Rob Liskamp and Rob Ruijtenbeek received a Valorisation Voucher for their proposal “Exploitation of a novel strategy for detection of phosphatase activity on dynamic peptide microarrays: a new PamChip® proteomics product”. As part of NPC project E2.3, they recently discovered a novel and highly promising strategy for the detection of protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) activity on dynamic peptide microarrays (PamChips®). With the voucher they want to explore the extent of applicability of this unprecedented approach and to develop it into a commercial product.
