Website on the Life Sciences

The website AllesoverDNA.nl answers a range of questions concerning DNA: What is DNA? What are genes? What is DNA sequencing? What is proteomics? It is a source of information on research into DNA, heredity and genes of people, animals, plants and microorganisms - in short, life sciences research. The website is intended not only for people who are interested in reading about life sciences research, but in particular for pupils and teachers in the upper forms of advanced secondary education. Specially for them, the website includes assignment tips, practical experiments and webquests.  

The Centre for Society and the Life Sciences manages the website AllesoverDNA.nl. A number of genomics centres are represented in the editorial team of AllesoverDNA.nl, amongst others the Netherlands Proteomics Centre. They supply much of the information and articles placed on AllesoverDNA.nl.
