Technology Foundation STW has awarded Netherlands Proteomics Centre researchers Albert Heck and Esther van Duijn (Utrecht University) a STW Grant of € 992,000. Heck and van Duijn will use their grant to characterize antibodies for therapeutic applications. In collaboration with MS Vision, a unique mass spectrometer will be built dedicated to the analysis of intact antibodies. Dutch biotechnology company Merus ensures access to complex mixtures of antibodies with improved clinical efficacy.
